PART ONE

OPEN GARDENS FETE

In aid of The Friends of St. Nicholas Church

Sunday 8th June

GARDENS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
WE CAN WITNESS THE
ARTISTS AT WORK

12 noon – 5pm

Open Gardens Fete, with a variety of Invited Artists.
Craft stalls, plant sales, food and drink.

At The Manor House, The Old Gatehouse,
Abbey House,
Abbey Farm Flowers, Bee Nice Blooms.

Followed by an Evening Reception
5pm – 7pm,
in the Grand Abbey Barn, where votes for Art works are revealed, sealed Bids for Art works are invited, judging proceeds, and there will be Live Music.

PART TWO

OPEN LANDSCAPE

Open invitation to come
and make Art

WE ARE ALL WELCOME TO JOIN IN.
LANDSCAPE ART IN THE ABBOTSBURY IDYLL

A week for the participation of many Artists,
FOR OBSERVATION AND EXPRESSION

Professionals, Amateurs, Students, Beginners,

DROP IN, JOIN IN, £10 FOR THE DAY
no booking necessary

Please register in the Grand Medieval Barn anytime after 9.30am,
£10 each day, £50 for seven days,
U16s and students half price.
Public free entry for Grand Barn Exhibition,
10am – 4.30pm

There will be a programme
of evening presentations and lectures,
free to participating Artists.

PART THREE

SCHOOLS and YOUNG ARTISTS

Thursday 12th –
Sunday 15th June

Inviting Young Artists to participate, choose their view of the Landscape and make their Art as a personal response based on their observation and their feelings about whatever they have chosen.
In the Grand Barn where everyone registers will be an Exhibition many Artists works offering the freedom of a variety different approaches.

Please register each morning
after 9.30am in the Grand Barn.
Under 16s and students – £5 each day,

Under 16s must part of a school group or be accompanied by an adult, however, the chaperones please register but need not pay.

Everyone, whatever age, will have their own individual and unique response to the Landscape. It is for each person or Artist to find their own way of doing it.
A benefit of the Festival will be the variety of examples of different approaches to the Landscape in the Grand Barn Exhibition as well as in the work of Artists working in the Landscape.
